Miles Continental is based in central Christchurch. While we’re an official Volkswagen and ŠKODA dealer, we’re also partnered with a number of large and reputable finance providers. This allows us to provide highly competitive options for vehicle warranties that help bring peace of mind when out and about in your vehicle, regardless of the make or model.

From our New Vehicle Warranty to Used Vehicle Extended Warranties, we have some great options that offer you worry-free motoring so that you and your family can enjoy many years of driving your vehicle.

Used Vehicle Extended Warranty

At the end of your New Vehicle Warranty’s five-year period, you may want to extend your warranty to ensure that you are still covered if the unexpected does happen. If so, we have the option to purchase a Used Vehicle Warranty at the end of that period.

This Used Vehicle Warranty can be purchased for either a 12, 24 or 36 month period and includes the following benefits:

  • Unlimited Kilometres
  • Market-leading claim allowance of $12,000
  • Nil excess applies if your vehicle is serviced at Miles Continental or another authorised Volkswagen or ŠKODA Service Centre
  • Complimentary Volkswagen or ŠKODA Roadside Assistance
  • Any replacement parts used will be Genuine Volkswagen or ŠKODA parts

Extra Benefits

If you’re like us, you’ll hate being inconvenienced when your vehicle breaks down. We also don’t like to be limited to just one option when stuck in these situations.

That’s why we made sure we offered a warranty that provides you with some options should your vehicle take more than 24 hours to repair and you’re more than 100km away from home.

In this event, you can choose one of the following:

  • No excess (if serviced with Miles Continental)
  • Accommodation or rental car hire costs
  • Return home costs (such as air fares)
  • Repatriation costs for your vehicle to your home address or another convenient location
