ŠKODA Scala Wins Stuff’s Top Small Car of 2019

ŠKODA has another trophy to add to its growing list of awards and this time for a vehicle that’s been on the market for less than six months.

The Scala, ŠKODA’s all new hatchback, has been turning the heads of SUV and sedan enthusiasts alike with its sleek design and superior handling. Most importantly, however, the Scala has drawn the attention of Stuff, beating out a host of popular compact SUVs to win Stuff’s Top Car of 2019.

Stuff sings the Scala’s praises,“With the new Scala, we catch ŠKODA on the cusp of a whole new generation of models. It’s on a new platform for the brand, introduces some important new design details, and boasts a wealth of technology for compact-car money.”

Stuff also cited the Scala’s 467-litre boot, ease of driving, and economical engine as reasons it surpassed its competitors, among other positives. Although we’re humbled, we’re not surprised – the Scala has also won the 2019 Auto Express Compact Family Car of the Year and the 2019 Red Dot Design Award.
