5 x Volkswagen Dealer of the Year Award Finalists (and a Win for Marketing!)

Members of the Miles Continental Volkswagen team recently attended the 2025 Volkswagen Dealer Conference, which was followed by the Volkswagen Dealer of the Year 2024 awards.

We were thrilled to be named as finalists in a total of five different categories, demonstrating our all-round approach to developing all aspects of our business, from sales, service, and parts to customer excellence. On top of these, we were also awarded the top spot for Volkswagen Passenger Marketing Team of the Year!

While we would have loved to take the top spot in more of those categories, we were thrilled to have been named in so many.

The awards recognise dealerships that have demonstrated outstanding performance across various key metrics, including customer satisfaction, sales volume, dealership operations, and innovation. – Volkswagen New Zealand

Chanelle McDonald, General Manager of Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles congratulated the overall winner, Ebbett Volkswagen, and acknowledged that those who had performed at the top of their field did so through dedication to doing the basics well, having a customer first mindset and being adaptable through change.

Kevin Richards, General Manager of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, added: “Last year was one of the most challenging we have ever faced as an industry, so it was more important than ever to recognise the hard work and resilience demonstrated by our dealer network. Our dealers are ultimately responsible for delivering the brand in their region and we want to congratulate all of the winners for their outstanding performances in 2024.”
