Miles Continental Le Race Postponed

It is with a heavy heart we announce that Miles Continental Le Race has been officially postponed. Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the government’s advice to cancel events of over 500 people, this is the best way to keep our riders, team, and support crews safe and healthy.

The good news is a new date is already pencilled in – 19 September 2020. Current registrations and fees will be transferred to this later date, and we’ll keep you posted with any changes. Although we are sure you were all in perfect condition to tackle the event this weekend, the bright side is you’ll have an excuse to train through the winter and stay in tip-top shape. We encourage you to stay active on the ŠKODA Cycling Canterbury Facebook page for bunch ride updates and more.

We hope you’ll join us in practising compassion during these tough and frustrating times. Our heart goes out to Sheree, Le Race’s organiser, who has worked tirelessly to create such a unique and special race. Well done, Sheree, and thank you for thinking of our health and our community.
