1. Intuitive start

The ID.4 detects your presence and intuitively starts when you sit in the driver’s seat with your smart key, “waking up” the vehicle automatically. Screens illuminate, and the car is ready for the road. Put your foot on the brake, twist to drive, and you’re off!

2. Set the mood

Activate ambient lighting or pre-set “moods” and simply adjust the brightness of all the interior lights to your preferred settings using the slider bar in the infotainment system. With 30 Colour Ambient Lighting, you can illuminate the dash panel, the mobile phone holder, and the doors with a range of colours.

3. Rearrange your cup holders

The ID.4 is equipped with two sets of cupholders for front-seat passengers – one set in the centre console, the other under a rolling cover. What’s cool about this is you can rearrange the cup holders by swapping or removing the modular inserts and dividers. You can customise the space by trying out various combinations, i.e. for holding phones or other items instead.

4. Set your favourites

The centre display controls most of the ID.4 features and includes an easy way to access those features you use most. You can do this by swiping down from the top of the screen to find shortcuts to your most-used sections; pressing and holding down any icon on the screen brings up a menu to customise which functions you want quick access to.

5. Wireless charging

With the ID.4 you can charge your phone on-the-go, with no wires required*. Simply place your phone over the charging pad, and your phone will automatically charge. Easy as that.

6. Clean your camera lens

If your rear camera lens gets dirty and becomes difficult to see, simply press and hold the right wiper stalk toward the windshield. Not only will it wash and wipe your back window, but a high-powered jet will also clean your backup camera lens.

7. Is this thing off?

Since the ID.4 is always quiet, it informs its driver with a friendly goodbye chime to confirm that the vehicle is off. And because of Volkswagen’s attention to detail, you adjust the chime volume, so it’s just right.
