ŠKODA Superb Corporate Cab

Superb Choice, Corporate Cabs.

Our rapidly growing automotive brand has aligned with New Zealand’s most premium taxi service, Corporate Cabs. It’s ŠKODA New Zealand’s biggest-ever fleet contract, but out of the 400 newly appointed chauffeurs that will make the switch from Holden Calais to ŠKODA Superb before 2022, it’s the vehicle exposure that will really see the ŠKODA brand grow in New Zealand.

Operating in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown, the company has already received a numerous amount of positive responses from clients requesting to be collected by a Superb or even ŠKODA vehicles in general; we don’t blame them! So, for our Christchurch based fans that choose to be ‘Professionally Driven’, expect to experience ŠKODA luxury alongside Alister Burrowes (pictured below) in the near future.

The South Island’s first ŠKODA Superb Corporate Cabs Driver, Alister Burrowes, stands proud and excited to drive away in his new office.

ŠKODA Superb Corporate Cab Delivery

We were lucky enough to meet Alister Burrowes (Corporate Cab Driver) and Gerard Gibb (South Island Operations Manager – Corporate Cabs) as we delivered the first South Island ŠKODA Superb to the company in May this year (2018). Alister, the gentleman he is, was reserved but eager to buckle into his new work vehicle, especially after the conversation we shared about the power of the 162kW engine and infotainment connectivity he experienced in his initial test drive.

Corporate Cabs offer a premium service, and the decision to switch the nationwide fleet was not taken lightly. Understandable when your company’s business slogan reads ‘Professionally Driven’. The vehicles were scrutinised through comfort, space, performance, economy and the obvious ‘luxury’ box required a tick. It’s great to see our brand come away with a win in such a competitive market.

Offering a taste of the ‘Miles Continental service’ to our friends at Corporate Cabs is becoming more frequent as the company’s existing fleet reach the end of their 5 years in service. Tim ten Hove delivers Christchurch’s second approved Corporate Cab to Manjot Parhar.

Optimistic thinking…

We can’t see into the future, but with Holden decreasing in production numbers and New Zealand’s Police fleet also currently ‘Holden’ the badge, we wouldn’t be surprised if we witness a somewhat similar shift in our future first response fleet. Watch this space!
