Kodiaq at Opotiki

A Roadtrip in the ŠKODA Kodiaq

One of our first ŠKODA Kodiaq owners, Andrew, recently took a roadtrip throughout the North Island and very kindly shared his photos with us. Here’s a selection from his trip.

As Andrew describes:

“Thought I’d share some photos of my summer ‘Kodi Roadie’ Approx 2,300 km in 9 days – feel free to use them if you want. Perfect trip, perfect car for the trip, whether cresting 700m rises, off road on the hills round Gisborne, or taking advantage of the new limits on the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road ($2 – bargain!!) never missed a beat. In all conditions it just responded to every demand and never wanted for power. A smooth comfortable companion, and most definitely my Car Of The Year.”

“Interesting fact – I used the Kaitaki Ferry in a former life when it was the ‘Pride Of Cherbourg’ plying the Portsmouth to Cherbourg route across the English Channel. I had an old Mazda 323 back then and grounded the exhaust on the ramp when disembarking at Cherbourg – first job in France was to find a ‘Midas’ to repair the Mazda before we could enjoy our holiday. No such dramas with the Kodiaq, which just performs effortlessly.”

Thanks for sharing your photos, Andrew, and so glad you’re making the most of your Kodiaq!
