Local Motoring Writer, Ben Selby, picked up the ŠKODA Kodiaq RS from our ŠKODA team to take it for a spin.

While the Kodiaq has achieved an impressive line-up of awards – New Zealand Car of the Year amongst them – we’re always slightly nervous when having over the keys to one of our vehicles. As usual, our nervousness was unfounded and Ben returned with a huge grin across his face!

The Skoda Kodiaq RS is something pretty special. If you were to venture out and find the same kind of grunt, levels of kit, tech and amazing hot hatch-eqsue driving experience the RS provides, you would be spending a heck of a lot more than $71,990.
That makes the Kodiaq RS not only a compelling bang for your buck package, but it’s Jekkyl and Hyde dual personality of family commuter and automotive adrenalin pump means there is very little where this new hot Skoda isn’t right at home. Trust me, this one is definitely worth a punt.
The best of both worlds in a well rounded package of grunt and value.
