We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our growing ŠKODA family, the Scala. Our first mid-sized hatch is the perfect companion for every adventure in your life. Scala, which means “ladder” in Latin, is designed to help you take on whatever life throws your way. Whether you’re expanding your family, have furry friends as adventure companions, or need more boot space for your gear, the Scala bridges the gap between you and your lifestyle. 

What’s got us so weak in the knees over ŠKODA’s newest addition? Check out its top highlighted features:

-Connectivity. SmartLink, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay are now standard on all models of the Scala, keeping you in touch and up-to-date with your busy life. The streamlined look and minimal buttons (or sleek touchscreen if you spring for the top spec ŠKODA Scala Style) works just like a smartphone, meaning intuitive navigation that won’t take manuals to learn how to use. Not to mention, the centre console features an accessories console, USB jacks, and more, keeping your life safely at your fingertips. 

-Safety. Speaking of safety, with up to nine airbags, Side Assist, Crew Protect Assist, Front Assist with Pedestrian Monitor, and Lane Assist, the Scala is perfect for keeping you, and others, safe on the road.

–Thoughtful exterior style points. We’re loving the new headlights and aerodynamic alloy wheels on all models. The Scala will stand out on the road, showcasing design excellence mixed with superior performance.   

-Affordability. With a baseline price of $29,990+ORC MRP or $34,990+ORC MRP for the mid-range Scala Sport, the bang for your buck is hard to beat. “The Scala is all about providing a lot of car for a very affordable amount of money,” AutoTrader raves. If you want to spring for the top spec, $38,990+ORC MRP will get you a whole suite of extras, such as parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, KESSY Keyless Entry System, and some pretty slick aerodynamic rims. As AutoTrader says, “better-than-average space for a lower-than-average price.”
