ŠKODA and Sinch eBikes team up for an offer that’s hard to pedal away from.

Four wheels may have you sorted for your weekends away, but what about two wheels for your day to day? The eBike craze has taken New Zealand by storm, and Sinch eBikes and ŠKODA don’t want you to be left out. Now, with every new ŠKODA purchased at Miles Continental during August 2019, you’ll be zooming away on two and four wheels.

Who Are Sinch?

Founded by two kiwis with biking in their blood, Sinch eBikes aims to “make biking more accessible, affordable, and enjoyable for more people.”

Founders Kim Struthers and Stephen James are no strangers to the biking world. Their impressive resumes include working with the New Zealand cycling team to bring World Championship success on an Olympic stage. Struthers, the son of the founder of Avanti Bikes, has worked in different aspects on the bicycle sector across Australia and New Zealand, gaining valuable and varied business experience along the way. James started in the bike biz through his family’s retail business, which he ended up running after a stint overseas. Both worked together at Sheppard Industries, leading the brand to success through technology and design.

They were steered together by their passion for simplistic design, great performance, and a drive to help bring biking to more people.

What eBike Options Are Available?

The Sinch range includes bikes for mountain riding, casual riding, and one for kids. Currently expanding their range, a commuter option will be coming soon. Their bikes come in varying sizes, all offering impressive Shimano motors that can sustain speeds up to 32km/hr. Impressively quick when plodding up a hill! Not to mention, the battery lasts 150km on one full charge, meaning a weekend ride suddenly becomes a lot more achievable. View the range on their website.

Sinch aims to keep it simple. Biking, life, and putting the two together.  Learn more about the ŠKODA deal here.
