City You, Meet Adventure You.
There’s heritage to the name ‘Kamiq’, which originates from the language of the Inuit people, native to northern Canada and Greenland. The word means ‘something that fits perfectly’, and we don’t think there’s a better word to describe the newest addition to the family.
Nimble and swift, you can jump over a lot more than candlesticks with this crossover. Featuring higher ground clearance and an elevated seat position, you’ll find that you’re as comfortable traversing mountain roads as you are in and out of city traffic.
Whether you’re carrying extra passengers or cargo in the back, there’s plenty of room for all. With space for three adults, the rear seats are comfortable, making long journeys a breeze. Not to mention, the 400 litre boot capacity is pretty impressive, and jumps to 1,395 litres with the seats up. Top Gear remarked that the Kamiq was roomier – and more comfortable – than it’s competitors.
Simply Clever Luxury.
A first in the range, the Kamiq comes with dynamic LED indicators in both the front and the rear, heralding in the luxury of ŠKODAs to come. Inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the leather steering wheel and other thoughtful touches.
The 8″ infotainment system is a class act with its sleek design, App Connect capabilities, and more. The Monte Carlo edition comes with a 9.2″ screen and satellite navigation.
The Kamiq features the clever bells and whistles you’re used to (spacious compartments, umbrella in the door handle, and boot organisation additions), living up to its motto of ‘simply clever’.
Finally, the engine is ‘pleasingly refined,’ according to Top Gear making the driving experience smooth, comfortable, and powerful.

The Kamiq has earned a 5-star ANCAP safety rating, meaning you can drive safely and comfortably. With nine airbags and a host of modern safety assists, you’ll find driving to become less stressful and far more enjoyable.
We’re Going to Need a Bigger Trophy Shelf
We’re pretty humbled by the attention the Kamiq is receiving. Named the ‘Best Small SUV 2020’ at the 2020 Carbuyer Awards, James Batchelor, Editor-at-large, quipped, “Simply a great all-rounder, the Kamiq offers good looks, low running costs and lots of equipment for a sensible price, and it’s a step-up in practicality from most hatchbacks.”
Another testament to the Kamiq’s value, the crossover snatched up the Golden Steering Wheel Award in 2019 for the ‘Best Car Under €25,000’. We can only see a bright future ahead for the Kamiq.
