The mighty Volkswagen Amarok, just got mightier!

The annual AA Driven Car of the Year 2018 awards have been drawn and we are proud to announce that the Volkswagen Amarok takes the title of Best in Class – Utility segment, adding another trophy to its top shelf. At the beginning of the year we announced it had been awarded International Ute of the Year for 2018, on top of a previous win for the same award in 2010 – the only pick-up to receive the award for a second time.

Any new car still available for sale in the New Zealand market as of 30 September 2018, is eligible to win in its AA Driven New Zealand Car of the Year Best in Class category.

The finalists for the Utility segment were revealed and included:

Ford Ranger
Mercedes X-Class
