What’s new on the 2023 Volkswagen Amarok?
Completely reimagined, the new Amarok still exudes the same Volkswagen DNA you know and love. A few of our favourite enhancements, both inside and out, are below.
- Longer wheelbase provides an increased approach angle for improved off-road capability.
- Embossed tailgate with newly designed styling bars and steps.
- A range of 2.0 to 3.0 litre diesel engines available, including a powerful V6 suited to hauling heavy loads as well as hitting off-road tracks.
- 3.5-tonne braked towing capacity enabling you to take on any task with confidence.
- Wider and has expanded wheelbase allowing for extra comfort and more legroom.
- Multi-function steering wheel that allows you control of your digital needs with the touch of a button or a voice command.
- Keyless access and electronic parking brake
- Alloy wheels complete the stylish look of the Amarok, with 18″ light-alloy wheels with the PanAmericana and 20″ alloy wheels with the Aventura.

The Volkswagen Amarok PanAmericana
This is the pinnacle. Those who opt for the new Amarok PanAmerica will enjoy the entire off-road package, including the black powder-coated styling bar, steps to the 18″ light-alloy black wheels, black contrasting mirrors, bumpers, and door handles. The new Amarok PanAmericana is highly uncompromising – just like its all-terrain tyres with 18″ light-alloy wheels, which are exclusive to the PanAmericana in all black. A rough, rugged exterior is complemented with high-quality comfort on the inside, featuring leather seats, a touchscreen navigation system, and a premium Harman Kardon Soundsystem.

The Volkswagen Amarok Aventura
Combining both the pick-up and premium worlds with power when you need it and elegance all-round. Boasting large 20″ alloy wheels, chrome accents (including steps, mirrors, door handles, and rear bumper), plus a body-coloured sports bar. The new Amarok Aventura boasts a high-quality, premium interior that truly sets the benchmark.
