Why wheel alignments & tyres matter
Proper wheel alignment has a direct impact on driving safety and performance. It promotes even tyre wear, improves handling and steering, and helps maximise the lifespan of your tyres.
High-quality tyres kept in good condition play a vital role every time you’re on the road. They help ensure the safety of you, your passengers, other motorists, and pedestrians.
Beyond safety, wheels and tyres can also enhance the overall driving experience and your Volkswagen’s style.
Signs that your wheels or tyres need attention
Misaligned wheels can accelerate the natural wear of your tyres – impacting not only your vehicle’s safety but also its performance and fuel efficiency. That’s why regular checks and timely replacements are essential.
While our technicians will always check your tyres and wheel alignment during your WOF and scheduled servicing, if you start to notice wheel spinning, lack of grip on the road, or your car favouring one side more than the other – this could be a sign that your wheels or tyres need attention.
Upgrading your Volkswagen
Upgrade the wheels and tyres of your Volkswagen to elevate your vehicle’s form and function. We have a range of options – from alloy wheel sets, spare wheel kits, and repairing solutions, to dynamic centre caps and valve caps.
