Performance

The Touareg has numerous details to delight performance design lovers.

All Wheel Steering

The V6S R-Line features all-wheel steering, with the rear wheels turning opposite the front up to 37 km/h, reducing the turning circle by over a metre. While at higher speeds, the rear wheels turn with the front for greater stability and agility when changing lanes.

Air Suspension

The Touareg V6S R-Line lets you tailor your drive. Depending on the driving mode, the optional air suspension lifts the vehicle to a ground clearance of 258 mm. The rear of the vehicle can also be lowered by 40 mm for convenient loading or unloading.

Towing

With a 3.5  tonne braked towing capacity, the Touareg is tailor-made for Kiwi adventures. Register your trailer in the driver assistance system, and the Touareg will adjust the blind spot sensors and drive assistance to allow for the added dimensions at the rear.

Interior

Step inside, and the high-quality, harmoniously coordinated materials ensure a feel-good atmosphere straight away.

Innovision Cockpit

The Innovision Cockpit combines the digital instrument cluster and 38.1 cm (15‑inch) infotainment screen into a single curved glass surface. Operate it via touch, gestures, or voice, with customisable home screens and programmable buttons.

All pricing is ‘MRP’ (Maximum Retail Price) and excludes on-road costs (ORC) unless stated as ‘driveaway’. On-road costs for new petrol (non-commercial) vehicles are $1,945 which includes GST, 12 months registration, full tank of fuel, 3 years WOF, 5 years factory warranty, 5 years Roadside Assistance, genuine floor mats, professional groom and pre-delivery inspection. On-road costs for new diesel, PHEV, EV, and all commercial vehicles are $2,245. The first 3,000km Road Users Charges are included on all models subject to RUC.

5 Year Warranty Terms and Conditions: Offer is applicable to all new Volkswagen Passenger and Commercial models (excluding vehicle conversions) purchased at an authorised Volkswagen dealership. The Volkswagen 5-year/150,000 km mechanical warranty (whichever occurs first) is available from the time of purchase. Warranty for the Crafter model is 5 Years/250,000 km.
